Misfit Mechanics In development
A mechanical repair puzzle: build the transmission, pull the lever, read the gauges.
You run a Victorian repair workshop, and every work order is a machine that does not quite work. Between a driving engine and one or two pumps sits an empty housing, and you fill it: pick shafts, gears, pulleys and sprockets from the hooks on the wall, stack them, wrap a belt or a chain around them, mount the assembly and pull the big test lever. The gauges tell you the speed, the load and the flow you actually got — and whether you built something that will last or something that will fly apart. Then you iterate, and hand the order in for a grade.

Key features
- Work orders with real mechanics: gear ratios, belt and chain drives, and pumps that need a particular speed to do their job.
- Build at a workbench with parts hung on wall hooks — shafts, gears, pulleys, sprockets, spacers, belts and chains.
- Test with a lever and read RPM, load and flow off the gauges, then take it apart and try again.
- Repairs give you parts back: good ones go to stock, destroyed ones become scrap.
- A grade for every order, from how much spare capacity your design has and how close its output is to what was asked, plus XP and money.
- The clock runs while you work, and overtime eats the payout; a hint is available, for a fee.
- Built for phones first: landscape, one finger to turn the view, two to pan, pinch to zoom.
